Actions Speak Louder Than Keywords
Organize All of your distributed data files for quick and easy access...
Then take immediate powerful actions on the search results.
SearchIn Server is the ultimate in-place data management solution for your file servers.
SearchIn "calms the C:\" with our patent-pending technology that allows you to find your files instantly.
With blazing speed, you'll find your files fast, whether you are looking for MS-Office, Adobe Acrobat, or any other type of files,
SearchIn will help you find, catalog, and manage them.
SearchIn provides the world’s fastest and most accurate search on your server volumes and network shares. While other products sacrifice
on accuracy in order to provide a fast result, SearchIn compromises nothing by delivering every file on your system instead
of only a fraction of them. With four ways to search -- name, content, file metadata, and custom metadata -- you will
never lose a file again.
The SearchIn Server provides the common services control component and indexing engine of a distributed SearchIn deployment. To search and manage data on network shares,
every installation must consist of at least one SearchIn Server and may have more than one depending on a customer's configuration and deployment needs.
The SearchIn Server can be configured to index, in real-time, all locally attached storage devices as well as receive content and metadata streams from one or more
of the following- PC/Server Agents; Workstation Agents; and Exchange Mail Agents. These streams are then processed on the server to build and maintain the master
indices that are accessed by the Client's search function.
SearchIn Servers automatically make themselves discoverable on a network. This allows SearchIn Clients to know that these servers are available, and
provides users access to these data management resources.
"While it may not be readily apparent what BlackBall does based on its name, its goal is to turn the established hierarchy of computing upside down.
BlackBall creates search engine technology that is tightly coupled with a file management system and unstructured database. The goal of that effort
to create a system for not only finding data anywhere, but also keeping track of the relationships between different sets of data regardless of
where it is stored." - eWeek
